You’re Looking for Change, Not Just Someone to Talk To

Many clients come to me after trying therapy before and still feeling stuck. You may be dealing with compulsions, avoidance, self-harm, overwhelming emotions, or behaviors you can’t fully explain and despite your efforts, the same distress keeps resurfacing. That’s where I come in.

Clients often come to me when they:

  • Feel stuck in repeating or confusing patterns
  • Use self-harm, disordered eating, or substances to cope
  • Are navigating OCD, anxiety, trauma, or school refusal
  • Have worked with multiple therapists but still feel misunderstood
  • Want therapy that challenges them and creates real movement

How I Help

I specialize in what I call the “coping cluster”- a group of behaviors rooted in attempts to manage emotional pain, trauma, or internal discomfort.

Rather than treating the behavior alone, we explore:

  • What the behavior is doing for you
  • What pain or need it’s protecting you from
  • How to build healthier, sustainable ways to cope

This is active, depth-oriented therapy. We don’t just talk, we work.

What It's Like to Work With Me

My style is warm, honest, and direct. I show up as a real human because authenticity and connection are part of the treatment.

In our work together, you can expect:

  • Support + challenge
  • Real conversations, not generic talk therapy
  • Insight and evidence-based strategies
  • Humor, warmth, and authenticity
  • A relational space where we show up honestly
  • Respect for the effort it takes to keep going

Clients often say therapy with me feels different, more real, more effective, and more deeply connected.

Who I Work With & Specialities: The Coping Cluster

Even when behaviors look different on the surface, they often serve similar emotional functions. I treat a wide range of issues with nuance and depth, including:

  • Self-harming behaviors
  • Disordered eating & body image concerns
  • Problematic sexual behaviors (CSOTP credentialed)
  • School refusal & teen behavioral challenges
  • Substance use & emotional dysregulation
  • OCD, intrusive thoughts & anxiety-driven patterns

These patterns are not failures, they’re attempts to cope. Together, we build new ways forward.

My Approach

I combine structured, evidence-based tools with relational and creative work tailored to you.

You may see me use:

  • Inference-Based CBT (ICBT) for OCD
  • CBT + DBT-informed strategies
  • Attachment-focused work
  • Relational and experiential interventions
  • Behavioral strategies for teens and adults
  • Creative elements like music, art, or film when helpful

Many of my clients have tried multiple therapies before. Together, we go deeper than symptom management, we identify the need underneath and learn new ways to meet it.

A Little About Me

Outside the therapy room, I’m a mom, wife, former Division I gymnast, and animal lover. Our home is full — 8 humans, 3 dogs, a bunny, and 2 parrots — busy, joyful, chaotic, and full of life. I love cheering for my kids at sporting events, cooking with my toddler, and listening to audiobooks (especially thrillers, romances, and post-apocalyptic stories).

I’ve experienced big transitions, pressure, and the messy, beautiful reality of life and I bring that humanness into therapy. My goal is for you to feel like you’re talking to a real person who gets it and genuinely cares.

Now accepting:

  • Teens (13+), young adults, adults
  • Families
  • Youth under 13 on a case-by-case basis
  • OCD, trauma, anxiety, emotion regulation & behavioral concerns
  • Clinical supervision (licensed & pre-licensed professionals)

Therapy leads to real change when it’s genuine, honest, and collaborative. If you’re ready for deeper work — beyond surface-level coping — I’d be honored to support you. Click below to schedule a consultation or request and appointment to get started.
