Robyn holds a doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech. She specializes in treating difficult to treat diagnoses, specifically Borderline Personality Disorder. She helps individuals and families manage distressing symptoms including self-harming behavior, substance abuse, and disordered eating.
Robyn’s clinical specialty is working with couples and families managing these difficult presentations, and believes that healing the systems in which these difficult symptoms often arise can bring about impactful change. Robyn is an inclusive therapist and works with all types of couples and families.
Robyn is laid-back and provides a down to earth yet no-nonsense approach to therapy. She often incorporates experiential and “in the moment” activities/interventions to provide a relaxed yet productive therapy environment.
Robyn has experience in inpatient, outpatient, in-home, and hospital settings and has specialized training in:

- Medical Family Therapy
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
