You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward

Maybe you have been carrying past experiences that still affect you, or you are navigating a major life transition that has left you feeling uncertain. It can be hard to open up or know where to start, especially if you have been handling things on your own for a long time. You do not have to figure it out alone.

Clients often come to me when they:

• Feel impacted by past trauma or difficult experiences

• Are going through life transitions such as school, career changes, or shifting family roles

• Struggle with confidence or security in relationships• Feel disconnected from themselves or others

• Want to better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, or relationships

• Are looking for an affirming space, including LGBTQ+ clients

What to expect in therapy

Therapy with me is human, collaborative, and grounded in connection. I believe that the relationship we build is the foundation for meaningful progress. I bring both clinical training and my full self into the room. That means we will have real conversations, moments of insight, and even laughter along the way.

I am direct and will challenge patterns that are not serving you, while also being your biggest supporter through both the difficult and the positive moments.

In therapy with me, you can expect:

• A safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself

• Honest conversations and meaningful feedback

• Support in exploring your past and how it shows up in the present

• Tools to build confidence, improve communication, and regulate emotions

• Encouragement and accountability as you grow

Who I Work With

• Are open to self-exploration and honest reflection• Are navigating identity, life changes, or relationship challenges

• Want both support and gentle challenge in therapy

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specialized training in trauma, EMDR, crime victimization, and emotionally focused couples therapy.

Clients often tell me that I am not what they expected in a therapist in a positive way. They share that they feel comfortable opening up early on and appreciate the balance of warmth, honesty, and directness I bring to sessions.

A little about me:

• My path to becoming a therapist was not linear. I lived in several different states and explored different careers before finding this work

• I even spent some time doing stand up comedy

• I love reading, watching new shows, and spending time with my two big dogs
