When the cycles of life leave you feeling unsure, exhausted, or overwhelmed, it is not uncommon to experience feelings of anxiety, shame, guilt, or anger. At its core, self-care is about finding harmony within yourself— mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
In Quanaisha's work with adolescents and adults, she strives to create a collaborative, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you can realign yourself without fear of not being enough or feeling pressured to perform for acceptance. Her clinical approach is integrative and multicultural, tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs while addressing both current concerns and underlying patterns that affect well-being. She approaches treatment with a warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented style, with an emphasis on building self-awareness and practical strategies for growth.
Trained as a generalist, Quanaisha works with a wide range of clinical presentations but has a particular passion for treatment of issues involving:
- Relationship concerns
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Trauma
- Mood Disorders
She also specializes in forensic and comprehensive psychological testing in the following areas:
- ADHD
- Learning disorders
- Court ordered assessments
- Adoption evaluations
- Parent-child custody evaluations
- Pre-hire evaluations
Quanaisha’s clinical experience spans diverse settings, including specialty court programs, juvenile detention, inpatient and outpatient care, and in-home services. Quanaisha holds two master’s degrees in Clinical and Forensic Psychology and is currently a Doctoral Candidate. She is pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a forensic focus at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is under the clinical supervision of Dr. Ariel Ham, Psy.D., LCP, CSOTP, CATP, CCTP.
